I grew up in a small town in New Mexico and moved to Denver after leaving Austin, Texas. I’ve been involved in the open-source movement for years and it was during my involvement in creating online platforms for political organizations when I discovered the intersection of technology and politics and what it means to grassroots organizations as a whole.
I was hired by Grassroots Campaigns as a field manager during the 2004 election cycle and worked on campaigns for the DNC, Environmental Action and MoveOn. I joined the Telefund team at the end of August and it’s here that I’m able to merge my technology skills with my ideology.
