I joined Telefund in August 2007 after spending the last four years working with our sister company Grassroots Campaigns as a Canvass Director and Regional Director. My decision to work with Telefund was based on wanting to make the biggest impact possible on the 2008 presidential elections.
I've spent the last eight years doing progressive organizing and canvassing in 13 states as well as dozens of college campuses. These experiences have given me great opportunities to talk with thousands of citizens across the country and organize hundreds of activists. Included in the many causes I have organized around are; the environment, consumer issues, hunger and homelessness issues, the war, civil liberties/ equality, and the presidential elections.
Coming to Telefund has provided me with a whole new set challenges and opportunities to make an impact. I have deeply enjoyed working with all the great activists in the Denver call center, as well as expanding my political reach with different organizations. I think that the work we do here -- activating people, training the next generation of organizers, and funding the fight -- is critical. I am excited for a big win in November and all the great things to come after that. I am proud to say that Telefund and the Denver office will play a huge role in it.
